CRDF Global will convene a virtual event on disruptive threats to the Critical Infrastructure (CI) sector, with a particular focus on cyber and physical security risks in Ukraine. The presentation will take place during the week of November 14th, 2022, at 9AM EST/ 1PM GMT. The event will run approximately 1-1.5 hours and take place virtually on Zoom with interpretation provided.
The overarching theme of the event highlights the importance of acting urgently to pressing security threats to the critical infrastructure sector that impact the broader international system. With an emphasis on the ongoing destruction and wartime challenges afflicting Ukraine, the panelists will emphasize to donors that assistance must be timely and targeted to mitigate long-term repercussions in the critical infrastructure sector and beyond.
This event has the capacity to bring together funding agencies that have sanctions enforcement programming. Additionally, it will examine potential solutions to wartime conditions in Ukraine and inform donors of methods to tackle global challenges similar to those in Eastern Europe.
